Aviva in the UK is hiring a Staff Applied AI Engineer to design, build and deploy production AI agents across customer-facing and internal operations. You will blend hands-on engineering with architectural ownership, partnering with product and business teams to realise high-value AI use cases.

You will deliver production AI pipelines, manage memory and evaluation frameworks, and ensure governance and responsible AI practices in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming experience in production systems.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications and agent pipelines.
• Understanding of context pipelines, embeddings, and hybrid search.

Responsibilities
