Reqiva in London is hiring a Staff Software Engineer – AI to shape product and technical direction. The role is hands-on and requires building production AI systems across Python, TypeScript, and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of software engineering experience, strong Python/backend skills, and a track record in AI/ML or LLM-based products. Familiarity with distributed systems and Kubernetes is essential. On-site, London location.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Excellent Python and backend engineering skills.
• Experience building AI/ML or LLM-based products.
• Strong knowledge of distributed and event-driven systems.
• Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes experience.
• Experience in fast-moving startup environments.
• Ability to own architecture, coding and delivery.
• TypeScript experience is a plus.
• Voice AI or conversational AI experience is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Build and ship core product features across Python, TypeScript and cloud infrastructure.
• Design scalable, event-driven and distributed systems.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered product functionality.
• Work directly with customers to understand problems and provide technical solutions.
• Take ownership from concept through to production.
• Help establish engineering standards around reliability, testing, security and scalability.
• Move quickly when needed while building long-term foundations.
