MDD Forensic Accountants LLP in London seeks a Polish-speaking Staff Accountant to support expansion of the Polish market. This entry-level role offers a path in forensic accounting.

You will perform preliminary analyses of sales and production data, observe inventory, review source documents, and assist with interviews and data evaluation. A bachelor’s or master’s in finance or law and progression toward ACA/CIMA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Polish language proficiency required, native preferred
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s in a finance or legal related subject
• Recently achieved or pursuing an accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA)

Job Description

MDD is looking for a Polish-speaking Staff Accountant in our London, UK office to support the expansion & growth of our polish market. This role is the first-step in carving out a career in Forensic Accounting and so is suitable for someone who is interested in this niche area of accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Preliminary to intermediate analysis of sales, production and other accounting data
• Physical inventory observation, price testing
• Examination of source documents pertinent to engagement
• Check and proof reports and schedules
• Conduct phone, video or in person interviews to obtain information
• Research, data analysis and evaluation
• Invoice analysis
• Attend marketing events and functions with clients

Qualifications

• Working proficiency in Polish required, native Polish language skills preferable
• Bachelor’s degree and/or Masters in a finance or legal related subject
• Recently achieved, working toward (or willing to work towards) an accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA)
• Exposure to working in a professional work environment with time-sensitive responsibilities
• Strong attention to details, analytical
• Ability to work as part of a team but autonomously on tasks
• Proficiency in Polish is required, other language skills considered an asset
