MDD, a Davies Company, seeks a German-speaking Senior Accountant to join its London Forensic Accounting team. You will analyze financial data and support litigation matters for diverse clients across jurisdictions.

Native German is essential; professional accounting qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) are preferred. The role offers a challenging, deadline-driven environment with opportunities to grow within a global firm.

Qualifications

• Degree or work experience in accounting/finance.
• Pursuing or holding ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Several years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting/consulting.
• Native German language essential.
• Experience in forensic accounting is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills.
• Independent yet team-oriented; able to meet tight SLAs.
• Knowledge of how loss impacts a business is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, production and other accounting data.
• Perform physical inventory observation and price testing.
• Examine source documents pertinent to engagement.
• Check and proof reports and schedules.
• Conduct phone or in-person interviews to obtain information.
• Prepare preliminary draft of report narrative and schedules.
• Analyze and reconcile claim to final calculation.
• Perform field review tasks with minimal supervision.
• Develop preliminary assignment program.
• Research, data analysis and evaluation.
• Attend marketing events and client functions.
