Job summary

Chelsea Football Club is seeking an Operations Officer to support the safe delivery of matches and events at Stamford Bridge and Kingsmeadow. You will work with the Safety & Operations team to ensure standards are met and assist with pre-event checks, documentation and multi-agency coordination.

The role requires weekend work, flexibility and experience in sports venue operations, with a focus on safeguarding, health and safety, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 4/5 in Spectator Safety or equivalent is required.
• Health and Safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH are essential.
• Safeguarding Level 2 certification (or equivalent) is expected.
• First Aid Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Matchday Safety & Operations teams to meet safety standards.
• Assist with planning, setup and delivery of matches and events.
• Contribute to pre-event checks and incident reporting.
• Support risk assessments, contingency planning and paperwork.
• Coordinate with police, fire, ambulance and licensing bodies.
