Job summary

Shire Services is seeking a Catering Manager for a busy primary school. You will oversee food preparation, stock management, and lead the kitchen team, ensuring compliance and allergen controls.

Working hours are 7:00am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only plus 3 cleaning days. The role is 32.5 hours per week across 44.98 weeks per year, with duties including service setup and food presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience managing school catering services is preferred.
• Knowledge of allergens and food safety compliance.
• Ability to work within term-time schedule.
• Strong stock and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and oversee food preparation.

Duties include: Food preparation, stock management, management of kitchen team, food presentation and service set up. compliance and allergen management. Monday - Friday between 7am - 2.30pm. Term time only plus 3 additional cleaning days.
