Job summary

Shire Services seeks an enthusiastic Cook in Charge for a busy primary school. You will lead food prep, stock control and kitchen team management, with a focus on food presentation and service setup.

Term time only, 22.5 hours per week across 44.98 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 9am-2pm, with 3 additional cleaning days. You will ensure compliance and allergen management in line with school policy.

Qualifications

• Food preparation and stock management for school kitchen.
• Leading a kitchen team and coordinating service.
• Ensuring allergen awareness and safe food handling.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and manage stock for daily service.
