Job summary

UST is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering Manager to lead a cross-functional team responsible for the reliability, scalability, performance and security of internally developed applications. This hands-on leadership role combines software and systems engineering with people development.

You will collaborate with product and engineering leaders to improve platform health, reduce operations overhead and drive SRE practices across the business, including observability, automation

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering team and delivering against objectives.
• Strong background in software and systems engineering and cloud architecture.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC in cloud-based environments.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using modern languages (Java or .NET).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional group applying SRE principles to internally developed apps.
• Improve observability and automation to reduce overhead.
• Set and track Service Level Objectives for availability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to improve performance.
