Job summary

evoke is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our betting and gaming platforms, focusing on reliability, scalability and performance. You will work with observability, automation and engineering to deliver robust customer experiences across services.

You will lead incident response, perform postmortems and drive resilience improvements. The role requires hands-on production experience with cloud, containers and monitoring tools, plus strong collaboration with technical and non-technical

Qualifications

Experience with large-scale technology platforms and incident management.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems and containers.
Ability to troubleshoot effectively and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Experience or interest in using AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Partner with engineering, operational and commercial teams to improve platform reliability and customer experience.
Lead and coordinate major incidents using incident command framework.
Conduct postmortems to identify root causes and drive improvements to prevent recurrence.
Utilise Splunk, New Relic and CloudWatch to monitor health and uncover performance insights.
Design, execute and analyse performance testing activities to validate readiness.
Champion operational readiness, resilience and fault-tolerance across services.
Drive automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reliability.
Promote SRE best practices across the organisation.
