Job summary

IQVIA Holdings Inc. seeks a Site Reliability Engineering Lead to head a team delivering mission-critical cloud services for a UK Public Sector client. The role blends hands-on engineering with leadership to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of cloud platforms.

You will drive operational excellence, champion automation, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver secure, resilient solutions with a focus on continuity, performance, and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in CloudOps/DevOps/SRE with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong cloud architecture knowledge with AWS.
• Proficiency in Python and containerisation.
• Hands-on experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and mentor a team of CloudOps engineers with performance development.
• Manage on-call rota and 24/7 readiness; oversee resource planning.
• Design and implement IaC solutions using Terraform and Ansible; automate provisioning on AWS.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Monitor uptime, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance and costs.
• Ensure security/compliance and maintain disaster recovery strategies; document processes.
• Collaborate with QA, Product and Development to improve reliability and time-to-market.
