CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineer II to join the TechOps SRE team in London, hybrid work. You will own operational aspects of a large-scale platform, build automation, and lead incident analysis to ensure 24/7 reliability for mission-critical cloud services.

The role demands strong Linux skills, software engineering experience, and proficiency in languages such as C++, Java, Python, or Go, with exposure to storage and virtualization tech. Collaboration across a global team is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science.
• 5+ years in a large-scale production environment.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in one or more: C++, Java, Python, Go.
• Experience with storage and infra tech (SAN/NAS/NFS, Object Storage, iSCSI).
• Experience with Puppet/Chef/Ansible or similar CM tools.

Mansioni

• Own operational aspects of the platform: availability, latency, throughput, monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server hardware and software issues to keep systems 24x7 available.
• Lead incident analysis and drive toward root cause and systemic improvements.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve delivery and reliability.
• Collaborate with global SREs and engineers on design and standard practices.
