Sr Risk Program Manager, Sustainability Services in EU Marketplace

DESCRIPTION

Amazon's Pay-on-behalf compliance service helps Sellers fulfill their environmental compliance obligations under Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws in the EU, allowing them to continue selling on Amazon. EPR is an environmental policy that makes Sellers responsible for the entire life cycle of their products, from design to end-of-life.

As a Senior Business Operations Manager on the team, you will lead strategic initiatives to protect Seller business on Amazon. You will work closely with product, operations, compliance, legal, and public policy teams, leveraging your experience with the Pay-on-behalf compliance service.

The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, passionate about the positive impact of environmental compliance on businesses, thrives in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize multiple deliverables, is collaborative, and possesses excellent business acumen and communication skills.

Key job responsibilities

1. Define and implement plans to successfully launch the Pay-on-behalf services program in the EU.
2. Establish and monitor metrics and goals to measure success across critical work streams.
3. Identify gaps or blockers to seller experience, propose solutions, and coordinate implementation with partner teams.
4. Seek continuous improvements in program processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Communicate updates on strategic programs and metrics to leaders and stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders
• Several years of relevant work experience
• Strategic and creative thinking with strong operational execution and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, manage trade-offs, and evaluate new opportunities with limited information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA or equivalent degree
