Amazon Devices is looking for a customer-obsessed, analytical Senior Product Manager to drive our growing Fire TV business. In this role, you will own a product category and be responsible for growth strategy, profitability improvement, business planning, demand generation, sales and promotion, and business transformation. You will work with various stakeholders covering business, support, and product management across both Fire TV and broader Amazon organization. Our ideal candidate will have experience in business planning, sales & marketing, and a demonstrated ability to execute to deliver results. You must be comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels.
Key job responsibilities
- Business Planning: Short and Mid-term strategic planning, Product category analysis, Customer needs understanding, Financial analysis, and Promotion planning.
- Driving growth: Plan and execute demand generation initiatives in both online and offline channels.
- Improving profitability: Own the contribution profit and drive the growth with sustainable and profitable manner.
- Business Transformation: Work with Fire TV team and JP local and global stakeholders to organize business critical projects and lead.
- Execution: Own the profitable growth plan, work with stakeholders, and influence global team to deliver the planned goals.
- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in driving numbers in both top line and bottom line
- Native level Japanese and Business level English
- Master's degree or equivalent
- MBA
- Experience owning technology products
- Experience in consumer electronics, e-commerce business, P/L responsibility at manufacturing company
- Experience in working at fast moving and dynamic industry
