Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc is seeking a Senior Manager IoT Corporate Development to shape and deliver the company’s inorganic growth agenda. You will identify strategic opportunities, drive deal execution, and partner across Legal, HR, Finance, Product, Technology, Sales and Commercial to enable value creation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, or a similar strategic role.
• Proven track record in M&A, including deal execution and post‑merger integration.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in IoT, telecoms, or technology sectors.
• Ability to drive alignment across multiple teams / functions – internally and externally.
• Desirable: MBA from leading business school.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the corporate development strategy for Vodafone IoT, aligned with IoT Strategy and Group priorities.
• Lead inorganic growth opportunities in partnership with Group M&A, including origination, assessment, diligence, execution and integration planning.
• Lead rigorous analysis of acquisitions, investments and partnerships for strategic fit and value creation.
• Coordinate with Legal, HR, Finance, Product, Technology, Sales and Commercial teams to ensure commercially robust decisions.
• Translate complex insights into compelling narratives for Vodafone Group and Liberty Global.

What you’ll do

As Senior Manager IoT Corporate Development, you will shape and deliver Vodafone IoT’s inorganic growth agenda, identifying and progressing strategic opportunities that accelerate growth, strengthen core capabilities and enhance Vodafone IoT’s competitive position.

• Strategic Execution: Deliver the corporate development strategy for Vodafone IoT, aligned with IoT Strategy, Group priorities. Portfolio choices and evolving market opportunities.
• Corporate Development & Transactions: Lead Vodafone IoT’s inorganic growth opportunities in partnership with Group M&A, including target origination, strategic assessment, business case development, due diligence, transaction execution and integration planning.
• Strategic Opportunity Assessment: Lead rigorous analysis of acquisition, investment and partnership opportunities to assess market attractiveness, strategic fit, capability enhancement, value creation potential and execution risk.
• Cross‑functional Alignment: Align Legal, HR, Finance, Product, Technology, Sales and Commercial teams to evaluate, execute and realise value from strategic opportunities, ensuring decisions are commercially robust and operationally deliverable.
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: Translate complex insights into compelling, fact‑based narratives for internal and external stakeholders, including Vodafone Group and Liberty Global.

Who you are

• 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, or a similar strategic role.
• Proven track record in M&A, including deal execution and post‑merger integration.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities.

• Experience in IoT, telecoms, or technology sectors.

• Desirable: Master’s in business administration (MBA) from a leading business school.
