Job summary

Advantage Resourcing UK Ltd is recruiting a Senior QS / Commercial Manager for a Glasgow-based role with a hybrid working pattern (2 days from home). The position is a 36-month contract with virtual interview availability on weekdays.

You will develop procurement strategies, manage ITT processes and support compliant tender submissions, working across bid, design, and delivery teams to secure best value outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects.
• MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the tender process end-to-end, including documentation and commercial evaluation of bids.
• Conduct cost planning, estimating and benchmarking.

Certain Advantage is partnering with a key client to recruit a Senior QS / Commercial Manager. You will be developing procurement strategies, contract management plans and ITT processes (including supporting competitive and compliant tender submissions).

Responsibilities

• Manage the tender process end-to-end, including preparation of documentation, commercial evaluation of bids, and supplier negotiations to achieve best value outcomes.
• Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking.
• Procurement strategy development.
• Commercial risk identification and pricing.
• Stakeholder engagement across bid, design, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-contract and tendering within major infrastructure projects, with strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
• MRICS and/or MCIPS preferred.
