Job Description: Senior Quantity Surveyor

Overview:

The business is a leading UK construction consultancy, who owing to an internal promotion are now looking for a high-quality Senior QS for their Glasgow office. Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare tender and contract documents.
2. Manage risks, value, and costs.
3. Provide advice on contractual claims.
4. Write progress reports.
5. Value completed work and arrange payments.
6. Stay updated on building contracts and health and safety regulations.
7. Mentor junior staff.

Requirements:

1. Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in a senior role.
2. Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
3. Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
5. Negotiation and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
7. MRICS or FRICS.
