CybeRim is hiring for a SQL Server DBA role based in Milton Keynes, England, United Kingdom. This position involves working within an IT Systems Integration team, expanding an established team of DBAs, Engineers, and Analysts. Responsibilities

1. Champion T-SQL Development.
2. Collaborate with IT Development teams and Production DBAs to troubleshoot systems.
3. Work within the Infrastructure & Architecture team as a SQL Developer.
4. Lead SQL performance enhancement projects.
5. Understand the in-house application architecture.
6. Liaise with third parties to resolve issues with bespoke systems.
7. Enforce security controls and best practices.
8. Document and implement SQL configuration changes.
9. Assist DBAs with SQL-related issues.
10. Develop data collection processes.

Skills and Experience

1. Strong knowledge of T-SQL and SQL development best practices.
2. Minimum of 5 years of SQL Developer experience.
3. Proficiency with the full Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS).
4. Experience with SQL Server clustering.
5. Exposure to automation deployment tools such as Azure DevOps and OctopusDeploy.
6. Knowledge of best practices for IT operations in an always-on, HADR environment.
