Toppesfield is seeking a reliable HGV Sprayer Driver to join our on-site delivery team. The role covers both day and night shifts and involves applying tac coat emulsion using an HGV Sprayer, along with safe operation of equipment and daily maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Report mechanical or safety issues to the relevant department.
• Handle other heavy construction duties as required.
• Work safely to protect yourself and others.

Role Description

We have an opportunity for a reliable and self‑motivated HGV Sprayer Driver who will be working as part of our on‑site delivery team. The role will be for both day and night shifts.

Role Responsibilities

• The application of tac coat emulsion using HGV Sprayer.
• Constantly monitor temperature, heat oil within confines of recommended temperature
• Operate the HGV and other equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment
• Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to the relevant department
• Operate other heavy equipment and other construction related duties as required
• Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the well‑being of others

Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Drivers CPC
• Driving Licence (Class 2 / C)
• Tanker experience preferred
