Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited in Salford is seeking a LGV Driver (Category C) to join the Contracting team at Agecroft, handling a spray tanker and supporting varied routes across the North West. You will perform daily checks, load securement, and work with the Plant Coordinator to maintain safety and efficiency.

Applicants should hold a Category C licence, Digital Tacho Card, CPC qualification, and have experience in heavy industry; ADR certification is advantageous.

Qualifications

• LGV (HGV) Class 2 licence
• A valid Digital Tacho Card
• A valid CPC Qualification Card
• Experience in similar role/heavy industry
• Knowledge of Health and Safety policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Drive bitumen spray tanker across the North West region
• Occasionally drive other Category C vehicles
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Ensure journeys are safe and loads secure
• Liaise with Plant Coordinator and Gang Foreman
• Adhere to Driving Regulations and company procedures
