Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited in Salford (Agecroft site) is hiring an LGV Driver C+E (Low Loader) on a varied pattern including overnights and weekends. You will transport heavy plant and machinery, fuel, stores, and bitumen spray tankers, performing daily checks and ensuring load security and compliance.

The role demands a Cat C+E licence with a valid Driver CPC, experience as an HGV driver, and a strong focus on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Cat C+E licence and valid Driver CPC
• Experience as an HGV Driver C+E (Low Loader) preferred
• Understanding of load security and plant machinery operations

Responsibilities

• Operate low loaders to transport heavy plant and machinery to/from sites
• Deliver fuel safely to fixed and mobile plant
• Transport stores, materials and equipment to sites
• Operate spray tankers to apply bitumen safely
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensure load securing and safe unloading practices
