Job description

Organisation : Procision Football Academy

Location : Newbury College, Monks Lane, RG14 7TD

Closing date for applications : 31/07/2025

Procision Football Academy (Newbury) are looking for medical cover for the new 25-26 season.

Procision is a 16-19 Football Academy based out of Newbury College, Berkshire with the first team playing in the National Youth Football League.

You will lead medical provisions for the team of 60+ players and will be required for two morning clinics (ideally Monday & Thursdays) as well as providing match cover on Wednesday afternoons plus extra team fixtures on Fridays. Home fixtures are played at Wantage Town FC and transport can be provided to and from the college for fixtures. All equipment is provided by the Academy.

Pay is sessional based, payable by invoice at the end of each month

This is a great role for someone looking for an entry into Football and exposure with working developing adolescent athletes. You will be supported by the Academy Director and have a good link with the team’s Strength & Conditioning coach

Requirements

• Degree in relevant field (Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation etc)
• Valid first aid certificate (ITMMIF/PHICIS L2) or ability to obtain one before season starts
  Knowledge or understanding of Football based injuries
• Confident in soft tissue therapy use
  Knowledge and experience of exercise-based rehabilitation
