Job summary

BBC Group and Public Services in Salford is offering a Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship (Level 4) with a 17‑month fixed‑term contract. This on‑the‑job program lets you learn while you work toward an industry qualification and gain hands‑on experience in BBC Sport production management.

You will support planning, location shoots, staffing, paperwork, and budget processes as you develop your career in production management.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years old or over by the start of the apprenticeship.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the apprenticeship.
• No prior media experience or qualifications required; enthusiasm and problem-solving skills valued.

Responsibilities

• Support the Production Management/Business Teams in planning and coordination of productions and shows.
• Work on location supporting Outside Broadcasts.
• Assist with production paperwork and rights clearance/reporting.
• Support staffing rotas and staff leave management.
• Book transport and accommodation and assist with budgets and payments.
