Job summary

BBC Studios in Salford is offering a Junior Production Coordinator Apprenticeship (Level 4) as a fixed-term, full-time position for 17 months. Join Morning Live and other BBC productions, learning on-the-job while working toward an industry-recognised qualification.

You will support shoots, crew bookings, budgets, visas and permits, and learn production management alongside seasoned professionals in a fast-paced broadcasting environment.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2027.
• Be legally eligible to work full-time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
• This scheme is aimed at non-graduates.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for production management and an adaptable, problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shoots, studio setups, crew bookings and call sheets.
• Book transport and accommodation for shoots.
• Support budget management and raise payments for suppliers and broadcasters.
• Assist with accreditations/permits/visas and health & safety compliance.
• Learn best practices in production management while gaining hands-on experience.
