University of Exeter is seeking a Sports Grounds Person to maintain grass and artificial surfaces across winter and summer seasons. The role involves setting up and inspecting pitches, line marking, and cricket square preparation, with duties across Exeter campuses as needed.

This full-time post is available from immediately on a permanent basis.
The starting salary will be from £ 28,029 on Grade C, depending on knowledge,skills and experience.
This post is based in the Grounds Sports Department and willbe covering a range of grass and artificial sports surfaces for winter andsummer activities. General tasks of the position will include setting up andinspecting playing surfaces to the highest standard, line marking and settingout pitches,cricket square preparations and using a wide variety ofsports surface equipment. The post holder will also be deployed across theExeter campuses also supporting the horticultural team to varying degreesacross the year.
This Job role plays is a key element in asuperbstudent experience and in the delivery of the inter UniversityChampionships (BUCS) and in-house competitions.
You should be able to display experience in the maintenance,inspection and marking of sports pitches. You must also be able to demonstrateknowledge of the safe operation of a range of sports maintenance machinery,equipment and tools.
You must be able to work flexibly as part of a team or underyour own initiative, provide evidence of good customer care and be able totravel to various Exeter facilities to start your Woking day.
