Job summary

Cover People, Manchester are hiring for a school-based Sports Coach / TA in Salford. This role is in a small secondary SEMH school, supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs during PE and other lessons.

You will work across PE lessons, small groups and one-to-one support, promote positive behaviour, and help students engage in sport and wellbeing. The position is full-time with a start ASAP and a 8:30am-3:30pm schedule, paying £100-£115 per day PAYE.

Qualifications

• CV with full history from education to present.
• Minimum of 3 months' verifiable experience supporting young people.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Valid photo ID and proof of address.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
• Minimum of 2 professional references, covering the last 2 years.
• Overseas police certificate (if applicable).

Role

• Sports Coach / TA in a small secondary SEMH school in the Salford area.
• Start Date: ASAP, full time.
• Daily Rate: £100-£115 (depending on experience, paid PAYE).
• Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm.
• Role: Supporting students with social & emotional needs in small groups in sports and other lessons.
