Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is recruiting a Sports Coach for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Oldham. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:45pm, with a pay rate of £16.78 per hour. You will plan and deliver inclusive sports sessions to pupils with additional needs.

You will adapt activities to individual abilities, promote healthy lifestyles and work closely with teachers and support staff to support pupil development and confidence.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience in sports coaching, PE or working with young people.
• Ideally has experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Is energetic, enthusiastic, patient and understanding.
• Has the ability to adapt activities to suit different abilities and needs.
• Is confident managing behaviour in a positive and supportive manner.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is passionate about using sport to improve confidence, wellbeing and development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver fun, engaging and inclusive sports and physical activity sessions.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, patient and motivated Sports Coach to work within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Oldham.
