Engage Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Liverpool to recruit enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coaches / Teaching Assistants.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the classroom and during physical activities.
• Delivering and supporting engaging sports sessions and practical learning activities.
• Encouraging teamwork, communication, confidence and independence.
• Helping pupils develop social skills and positive relationships.
• Providing individualised support to meet pupils' different learning needs.
• Promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to help every pupil succeed.

Experience working with SEN, additional needs or challenging behaviour would be advantageous, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn and genuine passion for supporting young people are equally important.
