Job summary

Bishop Burton College is seeking a enthusiastic Sports Development Officer to develop sport and active leisure opportunities across the College, working with students, curriculum teams and external partners to deliver a varied programme of activities.

You will coordinate student sport, support events, volunteering and practical learning experiences, while promoting health, wellbeing and inclusion across campus.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sport development activities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience building partnerships with community organisations and NGBs.
• Commitment to health, wellbeing and inclusion in student communities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate student sport, including competitive and recreational activities and volunteering.
• Develop and deliver events and opportunities in partnership with NGBs and community organisations.
• Support practical learning experiences and major College sporting events.
• Promote health, wellbeing and inclusion across the College.
