Job summary

Bishop Burton College is seeking a Sports Operative to help coordinate the use of our sports facilities for students, staff, partner clubs and commercial customers. You will prepare equipment for bookings, conduct gym inductions, support match days and handle membership inquiries from a busy campus environment.

The role requires recent experience in sport, leisure or customer service, plus strong communication and IT skills.

Qualifications

Recent experience in sport, leisure or customer service.
Strong communication and IT skills.
Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification would be valuable; first aid training or willingness to achieve it.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the use of sports facilities for students, staff, partner clubs and commercial customers.
Prepare equipment for bookings and conduct gym inductions.
Support match days and handle membership and booking enquiries.
Carry out routine facility checks and work with colleagues to keep activities running safely and efficiently.
