Job summary

Capita is recruiting for Sponsored Reserve Firefighters in Lossiemouth. This civilian role combines firefighting with military purpose, supporting Defence in the UK and overseas.

You will train, be supported and trusted to make a real difference as part of the RAF firefighter force, with a 4 months overseas/16 months UK pattern. You may be eligible for the Level 3 Firefighter Apprenticeship and will join a close-knit professional team with a competitive starting salary and generous benefits

Qualifications

• Be a UK or Republic of Ireland citizen or Commonwealth citizen by birth
• Meet fitness standards and pass tests
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Meet medical and health standards for the role
• Be prepared for background checks and assessments

Responsibilities

• Respond to real incidents in high-pressure environments
• Work with specialist equipment and RAF teams
• Support Defence operations in the UK and overseas
