Job summary

Capita invites applications for a Sponsored Reserve Firefighter, a civilian firefighting role with military purpose supporting Defence in the UK and overseas. You will be trained, supported and trusted to make a real difference as part of the RAF firefighter force.

The programme includes a Level 3 Firefighter Apprenticeship, with 4 months overseas and 16 months in the UK, plus a range of benefits and a pathway to a long-term career in service.

Qualifications

• Be a UK or Republic of Ireland citizen, or Commonwealth citizen from birth.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Meet medical and fitness standards and pass pre-joining tests.

Responsibilities

• Respond to real incidents in high-pressure environments.
• Work with RAF teams and specialist equipment.
• Support Defence operations in the UK and overseas.
• Be part of a close-knit, professional team.
