Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the rapidly evolving EHR-to-EDC space, engaging, educating, and building partnerships with thought leaders and key stakeholders.
- Represent the organization with clients, embodying a vision for transformational change in clinical data workflows.
- Maximize market presence by cultivating key pharmaceutical contacts to establish and grow high-value partnerships and increase awareness.
- Expand the pharmaceutical prospect pipeline in HubSpot, focusing on converting prospects into long-term clients.
- Proactively generate, follow up on, and qualify leads, maintaining accurate records in the CRM system.
- Close sales in line with set targets and revenue goals.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and other sales documentation; respond promptly to RFPs and RFIs.
- Engage confidently at the C-suite level to align solutions with pharmaceutical partners’ strategic priorities, involving multiple stakeholders and delivering compelling documentation addressing clinical data needs.
- Maintain deep knowledge of competitive solutions and report relevant market and product developments to leadership regularly.
- Manage and communicate progress against goals through accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and relevant events to support business development.
- Contribute to and promote a positive, collaborative organizational culture.
Experience & Skills:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for utilizing technology to improve clinical trial delivery.
- At least 3 years of direct experience in, and competent technical knowledge of, clinical research software such as EHR/EDC/ePRO, or similar services used by clinical operations within pharmaceutical companies.
- Successful track record in business development and selling to pharmaceutical organizations.
- Proven experience in developing strategies and nurturing successful strategic partnerships.
- Adherence to lead qualification, pipeline management, and CRM techniques.
- Strong research, analytical, and market-mapping skills to inform strategic decisions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage and execute a sales pipeline.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of presenting to large groups.
- Ability to confidently engage stakeholders at all levels with professionalism and parity.
- Realistic understanding and passion for the challenges of rapidly scaling a small business.
- Proactive, self-starting attitude towards all tasks.
