Job summary
Salford City College Group seeks a Teacher/Assessor of Learning Support SpLD to provide specialist assessment and one-to-one teaching for students with Dyslexia/SpLD across our sites. You will conduct diagnostic assessments, plan and deliver sessions, and support staff with feedback to maximise learner outcomes.
Required: Level 7 SpLD teaching/assessing qualification and APC. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice is essential.
Qualifications
- Level 7 specialist qualification in SpLD teaching and assessing.
- Current SpLD Assessment Practising Certificate (APC).
- Experience conducting diagnostic and access arrangement assessments.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic assessments for learners with Dyslexia/SpLD.
- Plan and deliver individual teaching sessions tailored to each learner.
- Support curriculum staff with feedback to maximise learner outcomes.
- Ensure safeguarding and inclusive practice in all activities.
