Job summary

Novus is hiring at City Campus Manchester for a Level 7 Assessor in the Supported Learning Department on a permanent, part-time basis (21 hours across 3 days per week).

You will contribute to delivering high-quality assessment and support for learners, working towards OT standards, with a focus on exam access arrangements and SpLD expertise. The role involves collaboration with colleagues and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Level 7 qualification in Exam Access Arrangements Assessing is required.
• Specialist Dyslexia/Dyscalculia teaching qualification at Level 5 or above.
• Bachelor of Education with QTS, Cert Ed or PGCE plus related credentials.
• Current industry specialism in SpLD and EAA Assessment.
• Assessor qualifications may be required by the awarding organisation.
• Minimum Level 7 occupational qualification.
• English and maths at Level 2 or higher (Grade C/4+).
• Postgraduate Level 7 course with 100+ hours in SpLD/Exam Access Arrangements or an equivalent certificate.
