Job summary

Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Whole-Time Consultant Spinal Surgeon based at the Northern General Hospital. Qualifications

• Qualified medical practitioner with GMC license to practice.
• FRCS (Tr & Orth) or equivalent.
• Name on the specialist register for relevant specialty or eligible within 6 months of interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide elective and emergency spinal surgery services at the Northern General Hospital.
• Hold an Honorary Consultant position at Sheffield Children’s Hospital for paediatric spinal on-call duties.
• Work according to the national consultant contract.
