A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Band 6 Spinal Cord Injury Clinical Specialist to deliver acute outreach and admission services. The role involves liaising with clinicians and families, providing expert care, and demonstrating strong leadership. As the Band 6 Spinal Cord Injury Clinical Specialist (SCIS), you will play a key role in delivering the acute outreach and admission service. You will seek innovative ways to improve the service and enhance the patient's experience. As a registered, accountable, and autonomous nurse or physiotherapist, you will act in your patients' best interests, taking personal responsibility for your actions and decisions. Your responsibilities will include liaising with referring clinicians, families, and patients with newly diagnosed spinal cord injury (SCI), offering advice, support, and educational input.
You will demonstrate strong leadership qualities that reinforce the Trust's values and beliefs.
You will support the acute outreach and admissions lead and, in their absence, take responsibility for the service, ensuring ongoing communication regarding the management of patients with SCI.

Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro-rata if part-time.
