Job summary

Discovery Schools Trust Ltd is seeking a part-time Speech & Language Therapist Assistant (Band 3) to support children across the In-TACT service. You will work under supervision to implement therapy plans and help create inclusive school environments.

The role offers CPD opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a pathway to professional development within a multidisciplinary team including educational psychology. Based at Leicester schools and travel between locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) including English at grade C or above.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapy programmes designed by Speech and Language Therapists.
• Support individuals with communication, speech, language and interaction needs.
• Assist in the delivery of group and individual therapy sessions.
• Prepare therapy resources and activities.
• Monitor and record progress and provide feedback to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate records in line with our service standards.
• Support our schools, staff and families by sharing information and advice as directed.
• Contribute to the safe and effective running of the service.
• Attend training, supervision and team meetings.
• Attend regular In-TACT team meetings
• Follow safeguarding, confidentiality and health and safety procedures at all times.
