Job summary

The role requires HCPC registration, a relevant degree, and postgraduate expertise to lead complex cases. A UK driving licence and commitment to high standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Registered with HCPC to practice as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Postgraduate expertise within speciality demonstrates breadth of knowledge.
• Knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards relevant to practice.
• Full UK/EU driving licence may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defined caseload within a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide comprehensive specialist speech and language therapy services.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions across settings.
• Offer specialist advice to parents, carers and professionals on communication and swallowing difficulties.
