Farmfield Hospital in Charlwood, Surrey is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join a new enhanced MSU service. You will lead therapeutic groups, build rapport with adult male inpatients, and manage a caseload with assessments, planning, interventions and outcome evaluations within a multidisciplinary team.

HCPC registered therapists with dysphagia experience and a commitment to professional development will thrive in this role, with access to training and regional support to reach career

Qualifications

• HCPC registration held and current.
• Experience of assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
• Experience of working with families.
• Evidence of continuing Professional Development.

Responsibilities

• Lead group therapeutic sessions to support speech and communication.
• Develop strong one-to-one rapport with service users and encourage engagement.
• Manage a designated caseload including assessments, planning and evaluating outcomes.
• Plan and implement interventions aligned to care plans.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in training.
