Job summary

Reeson Education in West Drayton is seeking a passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join a warm, supportive SEN school, where your expertise will directly benefit students.

You will assess and deliver tailored therapy, support pupils with speech, language, communication and feeding needs (including autism and complex needs), collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and families, contribute to EHCP planning while safeguarding pupil wellbeing, and engage in ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
• Experience working in an educational or SEN setting (preferred but not essential for newly qualified therapists).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A creative, child-centred approach to therapy.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs.
• Support children with speech, language, communication, and feeding difficulties, including autism and other complex needs.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, teaching assistants, and families to implement therapy strategies in the classroom and at home.
• Contribute to EHCP planning and reviews, providing professional input and recommendations.
• Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting therapy approaches as needed.
