Children and Family Health Devon is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to independently manage a caseload of children with developmental communication and related disorders. You will assess, diagnose and treat speech and language needs, providing interventions and evaluating outcomes while advising families and school staff.

The post requires HCPC registration, membership of the RCSLT, and experience with a broad range of assessment tools and therapies for children.

Qualifications

• Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
• Health Professions Council Licence to Practice.
• Registered Member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
• Membership of relevant Special Interest Groups.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage a caseload of patients with developmental communication and eating, drinking and swallowing difficulties.
• Provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment of developmental and acquired speech and language disorders.
• Provide advice to relatives, early years and school staff and other professionals.
• Set up and monitor programmes for other key workers.
• Write reports reflecting specialist knowledge.
