Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust's Manchester Airways Service is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapist on a 24-month secondment or fixed-term appointment to lead assessment and management of upper airway dysfunction and breathlessness.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, contribute to MDT case conferences and outpatient clinics, and support teaching, research, audit and service development across the respiratory department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality assessment and treatment of upper airway dysfunction and complex breathlessness.
• Work closely with MDT to deliver specialist programmes of care for patients on the caseload and contribute to conferences and clinics.
• Support teaching, research, audit and service development within the respiratory department.
