Speech & Language Therapy Assistant – Full time, 40 hours per week – £28,612.50 p/a
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant to work alongside qualified SLTs within our specialist residential services for autistic adults often accompanied by complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
Broughton House (LN5 0SL) is a 29 bed specialist residential service. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to work as part of the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) team. In this role you will cover a range of clinical and administrative support tasks. These tasks will be delegated to you by a qualified SLT and as a result you will work directly with individuals, either one-to-one or groups, to deliver therapy programmes, supporting SLTs in assessment of individuals\' communication skills, reporting on progress, providing support with resources for individuals and contributing to the development of the inclusive communication environment. You will receive monthly supervision and, as part of the SLT service, be eligible for relevant training focused to your workload.
