Job summary

KT Healthcare in Northampton is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to support a young person in Northampton. The role focuses on delivering 1-hour direct SLT sessions on a fortnightly basis and developing an individualised communication plan to maximise functional communication and independence within educational settings.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) is required.
• Experience with autism and complex communication needs.
• Knowledge of Developmental Language Disorder, speech sound disorders, and neuro-affirming practice.
• Experience supporting receptive and expressive language difficulties, social communication and sensory communication needs.
• Excellent communication, report writing and multidisciplinary working skills.
• Collaborative approach with families, education staff and other professionals.
• Experience in educational settings would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-hour direct Speech and Language Therapy sessions on a fortnightly basis.

About You
