Job description

Position: Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

Role: Permanent Part Time 15 hours per week

Salary: £29,970 - £36,483 per annum based on full time

Start: ASAP

Due to growth within the team, our client is looking for a Band 5 therapist for 15 hours per week to work across a range of pathways, including speech, social communication, complex needs (including dysphagia), and language. The post holder will be supported to excel in working independently and delivering therapy to children and young people in various settings.

The Role: This post requires the therapist to engage with children and families, liaise with nursery and school staff, and contribute to Educational Health and Care Plans when necessary. The candidate must be able to drive to various locations, predominantly within Mid-Essex, with the base in Chelmsford.

Requirements:

• Qualified/Registered Speech and Language Therapist
• Current UK professional registration and right to work
• Experience working with children and in a multi-agency team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in Dysphagia
• Own vehicle access
