Location: West London (Undisclosed SEN Setting) | Contract: Fixed Term, Full-Time
A rewarding opportunity has become available at a specialist school in West London catering to pupils with complex communication and learning needs. We are seeking an experienced and confident Speech and Language Therapist to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team committed to supporting students aged 11 to 18.
This fixed-term role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within an educational environment that prioritises communication as central to learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialist assessments and therapy to students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
Develop and implement individual communication support plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff
Embed speech and language strategies into classroom practice across the school
Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and annual reviews
Provide training, support, and consultation to education staff to ensure consistent communication approaches
HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech and Language Therapist
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (Band 6 level or equivalent)
Strong understanding of ASD, SLCN, and complex communication profiles
Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-professional team
Excellent communication, time management, and report writing skills
