Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist

Salary: £30,000 - £48,000 pro rata - Term Time Only plus two weeks worked in the school holidays

Hours: 24 hrs, 3 days 8.30am - 4.30pm

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, plus two weeks worked in the school holidays.

Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required

This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing clinical team supporting the school. You will help develop the Speech and Language Therapy services working alongside the Lead Clinician, Clinical Locality Lead, and Head of Speech and Language Therapy.

We are seeking a candidate experienced in implementing preventative interventions at a systems level with a whole school approach (newly qualified clinicians considered). The role involves collaboration with education staff and other clinical disciplines to maximize impact for students.

You will manage a speech and language therapy caseload and contribute to staff training and consultation with the support of our Clinical Team. The role requires resilience, enthusiasm, a creative therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and workload management. Additionally, you will provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Speech and Language Therapy degree
• Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
• 1-2 years experience as a fully registered RCSLT member in a similar setting
• Clear, concise report writing skills
• Ability to work independently under supervision
• Experience working within multi-professional teams
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
