Job Description:

Working as a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be providing support to children and their families/carers to maximise their communication potential.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Maintaining accurate records and generating written reports.
• Conducting speech, language and communication assessments.
• Establishing therapy goals and tracking progress.
• Taking part in regular meetings, supervisions and appraisals.
• Creating a showcase speech and language therapy programme.
• Taking responsibility for a specific service area, working independently without direct supervision.
• Taking responsibility for own professional development.

Requirements:

• Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
• Experience working with children who have complex needs.
• A commitment to providing effective services and a commitment to continued improvement.
• Registration with RCSLT and HCPC.
