Job description

Position: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: London, W1G
Role: Permanent / Part Time (2-3 days per week)
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
Hours: Full Time

Our client is a private specialist clinic on prestigious Harley Street in the heart of London recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). The clinic celebrates its 20th year in 2025, and these new roles enable the growth plan to expand the clinic and operations with private partners, such as local councils, schools, and medical collaborations.

The Speech and Language Therapist will be the first SLT employed in the clinic, starting part time and building the practice to add other practitioners and go full time. The therapist will play a key role in assessing and treating children with speech, language, and communication disorders. This role involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized therapy plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to help children reach their full potential. The therapist will work closely with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, child-centred care.

Our client regularly reviews salaries across clinical settings in the UK and strives to remain competitive for top talent, usually paying above UK NHS pay bands.

Pension Scheme: Our client operates along the UK government guidelines and utilises the pension scheme through NEST, contributing 3% of employees’ salary to the scheme on their behalf, while employees are automatically enrolled to contribute 5% of their salary.

Leave and Holidays: Employees will immediately access 20 days of paid leave in addition to UK bank holidays throughout the year.

Learning and Development: A personalised development plan will support employee goals with guidance and support from the expertise available, including Sensory Integration training provided by the Clinical Director and CEO.

Health and Wellbeing Benefits: Our client prioritises the health and wellbeing of the team and provides benefits through BHSF Connect, which includes:

  • GP/physician services 24/7 through phone or video consultation.
  • Live phone helpline 24/7 for stress, personal issues, bereavement, emotional support, and counselling sessions.
  • Financial support services for budget management and confidential money advice.
  • Legal assistance 24/7 on personal legal issues.
  • Online wellbeing checks and content on topics such as mindfulness.
  • Support and guidance with carer support for elderly care and special needs.
  • Fitness discounts at over 3,600 health clubs.
  • Other lifestyle discounts across various categories.
