Job Details

• Location: Baston House School – Kent, BR2 7AB
• Salary: Up to £53,200 FTE, DOE plus £3000 Welcome Bonus (payable in two installments)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4.30pm
• Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
• Essential: Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle

About The Role

We support your professional development with a £2,000 training allowance in the first year. You will develop our Speech and Language Therapy services, working with the Lead Clinician, Clinical Locality Lead, and Head of Speech and Language Therapy. The role involves preventative interventions, collaboration with education and clinical staff, managing a caseload, and contributing to staff training and consultations. We value a creative, resilient, and enthusiastic approach, with decision-making and workload management skills. You will also provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and agencies.

Essential Criteria

• Speech and Language Therapy degree
• Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
• 1-2 years experience in a similar setting
• Clear report writing skills
• Ability to work independently under supervision
• Experience in multi-professional teams
• Full UK driving license and vehicle access
